Ø I had the privilege of working under illustrious and legendary Prof. ILLIZAROV and gained expertise in this technique which is now being practiced in all the best centers of the world. I specialized this technique, for trauma case and correction of deformity and limb lengthening, during the course of training programme at his centre at kurgan, Russia.

Ø Was a Fellow under Prof. Mironov S. in the Department of Circus Balley and Sports Trauma at Central Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics, Moscow and specially trained for Arthroscopy and Arthroscopic Surgery.

Ø Fellowship under Prof. Shaposhikov Member Corr. Russian Academy of Medical Science, Moscow . I attended this Fellowship Programme under Prof. Shaposhnikov so as to gain further experience in total HIP Replacement and performed Surgery both under guidance as well as independently

Ø I worked for 6 months in the department of Post Trauma consequences at centre Institute of Trauma and Ortho. At Moscow under Prof. & Head of Department Dr. Urazgeldeev Z. the No. 1 Scientists in this Super-Specialized field in CIS Countries. Under his guidance, I gained experience in the field of Trauma Surgery specially in this field of External Fixator more so in ILIZAROV External Fixator. This Institute is the biggest Institute for Trauma and Ortho. In the world and serves as a Referral Institute for all CIS Countries.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Ø Post Graduation in Orthopedics Surgery from S.N. Medical College , Agra , UP, India in 1987-1989 (M.S. Ortho.) during this period acquainted myself with the basic principle of Orthopedic Surgery. I was also exposed to the various Orthopedic Emergency & Operation Techniques e.g. A.O Plating Etc. During this period I have SRF Ship of ICMR for One Year 88-89. Management of Osteoarticular Tuberculosis & Effect of Short Term Chemotherapy in such cases.

Ø PhD. In Trauma & Ortho. In 1993 from CITO, Moscow .

Ø This Central Institute of Trauma and Ortho. After the name of Priorov at Moscow is the premier Institute which serves as a Referral Central for Trauma, Ortho. Cases. In this Fellow Programme I have performed surgery both under guidance as well as independently.

GUEST LECTURES:

Ø Delivered a Guest Lecture at Dehradun – UP Chapter Annual Conference of Association of Plastic Surgeons of India in 1993.TOPIC- The use and Technique of ILIZAROV External Fixator in Plastic surgery.

Ø Attended a workshop for Knee Joint surgery at Berlin conducted by well know scientist Prof. Werner Muller during ESSKA 1994.

Ø Attended workshop on Knee & Hip joint replacement in Milan , Bologna , Napels with renowned professor Vincenzo Schiavone in 2008.

PRESENT STATUS:

Ø Practicing Consultant in Ortho & Truma. I am practicing since Oct. 1994 & doing latest orthopedic Surgical Techniques with special interest in handling cases of fresh trauma deformities in limbs, reconstruction surgeries and Orthopaedics complications, SALVAGE OF LIMBS  as well as joints. Desire to take a PROJECT to make India "VIKLANG MUKT " ! I am working through Chamber Attachments with Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals at New Delhi.

 

Activities:

Ø I am running an NGO - "Shiv Sheela Charitable trust" since the year 2000! Doing regular Health Camps, treated thousands of Orthopaedic patients. Treated patients under other banners like IAS Officer's Wives Association in Delhi, Indian Naval Officer's Association ND, Income Tax Officer's at Civic Building ND, Rotary Club Chanakyapuri ND, NCD, Janakpuri, New Delhi etc. 

Ø On 17th & 18th Sept. 2016 did a 2 days Camp to Celebrate B'day of Hon. PM Modi Ji at 'Shivpuri, M.P.' with courtesy of Princess Yashodhra Raje Scindia, then Minister in Madhya Pradesh

Ø Had been a Rotarian & was also involved in several Social Activities through it

Ø Gives Health Talks at Many places/ Organisations

Ø Appeared in many Talk Shows on TV Channels – Doordarshan, Aaj Tak , News 24, ABP News, Jain TV etc.
